Wedding update

Well things that are left to work on for the wedding.

-         Marriage License

-         Finish cruise registry

-         Get in touch with florist for the final amount.

-         Work on final version of Wedding vows [*rubs her face*]

-         Work on final draft of Wedding program.

-         Burn CD and test it to make sure it works.

-         Start working on check list to insure everything is in boxes.

-         Drink a lot..

I seriously have a bad gut feeling about the place setting I have register for, but I think it is normal not to get all your pieces for it. But is it normal possible not to get any of it? Bleh I will just pull some over time and get some pieces myself because I really just want people to have fun at the wedding and not worrying about the gift BS. I just don’t know if I should buy some pieces now my self since they are on sale and when you buy 150$ or more you get two free soup bowls for that setting. Talking about kick ass, much pondering to do on this.

Later I will update people on the wedding.

Oddly, people didn't get me settings for my wedding, they got all 8 of one part of the setting, or something like that.

My cousin got me all 8 of my plates, you got me the salt and pepper shakers, etc.

It'll work out, don't worry!

And on that note, my daughter just woke up. *runs upstairs*

Well I have the gold ware already mother have given it to me a while back. It's the dishes I am kind of worried about but you know at this point I am that worried to stress about it.

We still put our patterens on our christmas lists and or birthday lists (when we can't think of anything else, buy for the house!). And then there are the splurge purchases when ya just want more.
Wouldn't worry about it. They'll be there tomorrow sort of thing... cost is not so much of a big thing over time.

"Drink a lot"
As long as it's before and not during the wedding.

Steph - don't buy ANYthing on your registries until after the wedding. Trust me - people will buy a lot more than you think, and even if they don't, you'll receive gift cards, and probably even cash. Wait and use all of those to complete your dining sets. 'sides, you don't need to be worrying about that before your wedding. Wait until after the honeymoon. :)

Listen to your friend up above, wait until after the wedding to buy off your registry. cash and gift cards come down more often than most think, especially from folks who don't/can't make it. We got lucky and Jennifer's grandpa bought all 8 place settings of the china she had picked up, so it was a nice little thing for her. You'll be surprised at some of the stuff folks get you.

And always remember the golden rule: relax. Things are going to go wrong somewhere during the wedding. It always happens, and you just have to be ready for it to happen and make sure your bridesmaids are ready to handle the situations. enjoy the day as much as you can, and remember that it's your day. The rest is a cinch. Also, a shot or so of vodka before the service helps take off some of the nerves.
