What I Learned this weekend..

So this weekend was very interesting to say the least and I am suffering badly for some needed sleep that I didn’t get last night cause of loud music and slamming of doors. I should have taken my sleeping pills. BAH!

Any ways..

Something that I thought I would post..

A true friend is one soul with two bodies.

To tear away from this soul is to tear away from your self and any answers that may help guide you on your journey. Sometimes a sojourn must be taken, but at the end your friend is always there standing there in vigilance and trust of ones that they love and shared blood with.

Amazing how some have yet to shed blood or sacrifice for a friend. And confront them and state that they have always been there for you. But when it comes down to it you know who is there and who is not. They do not have to be there physically but in spirit they are there.

My strength is the love I bare for my comrades, my shield the truth and my sword that I use only as the instrument of justice when I cut through lies, binds of illusion, the darkness that hides the hope of light and all forsaken grudges of disloyalties.

Vengeful is the spirit when a Fury grabs you by the heart and whispers the injustices of a friend’s heart. Patient when fate passes you the card that tells you to wait and let them bleed. Understanding that destiny is there to help embark on their journey with a passport of trails to come. Guided are you to wait for them at the port when they make it back and embrace them listening to them, taken in their tears, their laughs and dreams that you already knew would be there.

That is the lesson I have learned. That is the card that I face before anyone that challenges me, I no longer invoke what is inside me but spread out my arms to embrace my wings.

I think most people have a need for a commrade like you describe, even though they don't realize it. One you'd shed blood for, and who you know would shed blood for you. It's an old world way of defining honor in the new world where people are quick to turn on a friend without a second thought.

There's something cool about knowing someone has your back. To defend you against all odds when you are attacked without reason. Especially when the sentiment is mutual and you'd do the same for them.

I am glad I am not the only one out there that thinks that it is nice to have a friend like that.. No matter what happens they will be there and roles reversed. =D
