• No drawings done cause I need a new pad
• Need to get beer but that will have to wait until tomorrow and ask Goth man to pick up some.

I am still amazed at the infancy of text messages (SMS) in the US. At least in Finland and some of the other places I been to in europe people can't live without it. Of course both Europe and the US have nothing on the Philippines as far as 'texting' goes.

The Philippines has become by far the global capital of text messaging, a feature of digital cell phones virtually ignored in many other countries. Each day, more than 18 million text messages are transmitted in the country - twice as many as in all of Europe, industry officials say. That's an average of 25 a day for each of the 720,000 subscribers of Globe Telecom Inc., the cell phone company that handles virtually all of the traffic.

Yeah, sounds like the prices here in Finland. What I find ironic hs that people will pay 10 cents for a message rather than 10 cents for a minute of call. Maybe it is a disicpline thing, but you can communicate so much more in a minute of air time that in 166 characters. Not to mention how much of a profit maker that is to send text on the providers network verses voice. Telephone providers can make a fortune on SMSs.

I dont know .. I get more a thrill getting a little written Message or letter [not always e mail]than I do getting a phone call.. But I think thatis cause it leaves alot the imagination and seems more thought was put in to the words..
