Tell me what you think of this statement.

Cause women are evil!!

No, wait. How about this:

I read an article once that said about 80% of accidents happen within 50 miles of home. They were attempting to say that you get more relaxed in those environments that you're comfortable in, or some such. However, the truth of the matter is this: When do you ever drive more than 50 miles from your home? Very rarely.

It's much the same thing. Very rarely are people killed for no reason at all. Therefore, barring the random serial killer/rapist/mugging, most people are going to have a reason to kill anyone. That means that they're going to know thier murderer. The better you know someone, the more likely you know a reason to want to kill them.

That's not even getting into the fact that most guys tend to be possessive, and believe (even if only subconsciously) that they own the woman. This gives them the "right" to do whatever they want to with her. But I don't think that's as relevant to the discussion as the fact that most people are going to know who killed them, simply because there just aren't that many people running around killing people for the fun of it.

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong. :)

what was the Mark Twain quote?

Ah yes:

Figures often beguile me, particularly when I have the arranging of them myself; in which case the remark attributed to Disraeli would often apply with justice and force: "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics."
