First day of un employment..

Let’s face it people..
I hate being home and not working for a living. .This sucks a lot for me.
So far I have applied to a lot of jobs on line. And most likely will not hear back from them. I am right now waiting for Krys to get up so maybe there some openings as a waitress or something. I am going to the job fair tomorrow so maybe I have a chance. I hope I do at least. I can’t help but feel lowest point in my life.
I should have been picked for Verizon’s new Team and I wasn’t. Maybe I am just good enough or something. At least that is the impression I am getting from some people I have talked to. The only person that has ever really worked with me was Redwing. I remember even Toadie snapped at me over a few things cause of a trainer saying was being lazy, when in fact I just learned everything that day and was multitasking. But what does it matter? I not proving this to my friends or family. I already know what the hell I can do. I just don’t know about the support portion of what people have been giving me lately. And I am not asking for hand outs. But kinda get’s to me when someone treats me like a child or less than that cause my skill set is different than another persons. I swear to God I bet I could kick anyone’s ass at any job if we were in the same training I know I can do it. I just would like people to get off my case about it and stop treating me like I am a poor little wretch. It’s annoying and makes me feel lower. And I am not saying My family is doing this just other people out side the close friend I have. It’s just friggan annoying me.

tell em to bugger off . No one should judge you on being different than them or knowing different things. Hope you find a wonderful job soon.

Well, depending on how desperate you are, they've got some jobs on the board where I work. I'm not sure what kind of positions, though, or if they're actually offering them to people outside the building yet. It's about a block south of 114 and MacArthur.

But I'd suggest applying there as a last resort only. It's all old people working there and you feel like the place is sucking the life out of you. But we have a cafeteria and a nice smoking area on the patio and great insurance!

And I know you got a boyfriend and plenty of other friends, but let me know if you're ever bored and wanna hang.

I'm sure pullin' for you, Stephers! :^)

umm nah uh
I haven't worked with you personally, but I know that while you were there they kept giving you more and more resposability until you were a manager without the title. You don't give that kind of responcibility to lazy people.

Stephers.. i hate to say it but i hate to see a person with such potential stuck in a place like this! :( its not fair to you or to the other places and people that need you around.. thats all there is too it. Your a wise, well developed, very understanding person who can accomplish whatever she sets her mind to and more.. there is no reason you should be stuck here.. i know you'll suceed.. you'll find that better dream job where you actually enjoy going to work.. i just know that i'll miss seeing you around and i know the rest of us do too.. its just too sad and depressing here now...
